The Brick Post
“Overall this little Land Rover is great, the fact that it’s Minifigure scale makes it so much better. Other vehicles in the LEGO Creator range have been either slightly smaller or bigger in scale and just don’t like right. Thanks tp LEGO for making something us Minifigure... More lovers wanted, a scaled vehicle.”

Brick Fanatics
“There is also a lovely simplicity to building 40650 Land Rover Classic Defender that feels aptly like a throwback to an older time of building LEGO cars. This may well be based on a licensed vehicle and use design techniques and pieces only developed in more recent times,... More but it still manages to evoke a style of build and feel that harks back to the mid-1990s.”
