Insights

A short-window promotional release tied to a flagship companion set, Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network (40695) from Harry Potter was retired in 2024 and draws completionist interest, helped by an exclusive Lucius Malfoy variant and dark artifacts, while small-set volatility and remake risk limit upside.

Set Facts

The free GWP was available in September 2024 with qualifying purchases over US $130 | CAN $TBD | UK £120 for LEGO Insiders and released at the same time as 76437 The Burrow – Collector’s Edition for Back to Hogwarts day.
Borgin and Burkes is a dark magic shop located in Knockturn Alley, a sinister area adjacent to Diagon Alley in the "Harry Potter" series. The Floo Network is a magical transportation system that allows witches and wizards to travel between fireplaces connected to the network by throwing Floo powder into a fire and stepping into the green flames while stating their desired destination. Borgin and Burkes is one of the locations accessible via the Floo Network, as seen in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" when Harry Potter accidentally ends up there while trying to reach Diagon Alley.

Jays Brick Blog

“40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network is a really interesting GWP which features Lucius Malfoy in Borgin and Burkes, the antique shop in Diagon Alley that deals in unusual, and often dark magical artifacts. In the product description, we also discover that it’s a nod to the... More deleted scene from Chamber of Secrets!”

Brickset

“40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network is a fun counterpart to 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition, so you can recreate both ends of Harry's floo powder journey! There is huge potential for a larger model of this mysterious shop, but this version includes the essential... More features and the fireplace function is superb, especially for a gift-with-purchase.”
