“I've never been disappointed by a Lego set and there's nothing new in that regard here. It's probably a touch on the expensive side but considering that you get the truck, tag trailer, and the excavator plus a couple of decent minifigs, the price is ok. I definitely think... More this has some playability as well. The arm on the excavator is fun to play with and I know that little three-stick set of dynamite will get used as well.”

The LEGO Mining subtheme of City was first introduced in 2012 and then later revisited in 2018 with a total of 9 sets. The color scheme slightly changed from the 2 waves of releases were thew primary color is yellow but the secondary color changed from green to red.

Mining consists of 11 sets that ran from 2012 to 2018. As of today, 60188 Mining Experts Site is the most valuable Mining set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $207.
