“The wagon is compatible to every 9V train. All items in this set, including the minifigure and the oil drums, are labelled with logos of the fictional Octan oil company.”

“Compatible with minifigs and 9V trains, but the train car is somewhat smaller than it would be in "real life". This adds some unusual pieces to your collection. A railroad car with two Octan tanks on it. A flatbed truck that can carry one cargo unit.”

“The sets show the very well-known and recognizable tank wagon with an Octan truck carrying fuel barrels and a lesser-known railway crane. The sets are separated by two years (1993-1995) and color scheme. The tank is in Octan colors, i.e. the well-known white with red and... More green. The crane, on the other hand, is a mixture of black wagon bases (in the case of the tank as well), yellow, red and green.”

About Trains 9V

The 9 V system ran from 1991 to 2006 and is still a favourite with LEGO train fans. The rails have metal tops that carry the current from a speed regulator to a motor under the locomotive, so trains could run without batteries for as long as they stayed on the track. It started with 4558 Metroliner in 1991.

9V consists of 67 sets that ran from 1991 to 2006. As of today, 4558 Metroliner is the most valuable 9V set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,989.
