“The set includes 587 pieces, and of those 587 pieces, there are four train cars, three minifigures, a whole track worth of train tracks, and a vehicle. Of the four train wagons, one of them is the main train engine that pulls all the other three wagons, a flat wagon to hold... More cargo, a postal wagon to ship mail, and a tipper wagon to hold coal. The truck included in this set is for towing, and fixing the train if it ever gets breaks down.”

About Trains 9V

The 9 V system ran from 1991 to 2006 and is still a favourite with LEGO train fans. The rails have metal tops that carry the current from a speed regulator to a motor under the locomotive, so trains could run without batteries for as long as they stayed on the track. It started with 4558 Metroliner in 1991.

9V consists of 67 sets that ran from 1991 to 2006. As of today, 4558 Metroliner is the most valuable 9V set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,989.
