What’s typical for the Model Team series is that it is more about the attention to detail of the original car than functions. The Jeep is relatively easy to build since it... More consists of only around 300 individual parts. The pleasure of playing with it is to be gained with the utmost care, since many small parts can detach relatively quickly. On the whole, its overall rating is four stars.”

“The Jeep was just perfect, great detailing and it looked the part with lots of nice touches like the windscreen wipers, winch and tow rope, wing mirrors, the Fabuland spade and the spare tire. Also, perhaps by coincidence, a Lego Technic figure actually fits quite well on... More the seat and is quite well proportioned to the whole vehicle. The steering worked well and the construction of the Jeep was very sturdy too.”

About Model Team

The LEGO Model Team theme introduced in 1986 included larger scale vehicle models with more attention to details, such as steering and drive functionality as well as visual realism of the vehicles. Model Team was discontinued after 1999 and replaced by the Creator theme.
