“With only 15 pieces, this is a very small set with a couple large pieces. The black dragon occupies more than half of the front of the box...and is reason enough to buy this set. The black dragon looks great! Black seems so much more threatening than the green ones.... More Unfortunately the dragon has orange wings, but by swapping the orange wings with the black ones from Witch's Windship, the dragon looks even better.”

About Castle Fright Knights

The Fright Knights where part of LEGO’s dive into the fantasy realm for the Castle theme. The Fright Knights faction of sets featured dragons and witches and a dark sorceress. A giant bat emblem was the crest for Basil the Bat Lord and his forces of fright. New elements for this theme included bats, chains, crystal balls, and Basil's winged helmet.

Fright Knights consists of 17 sets that ran from 1997 to 1998. As of today, 6097 Night Lord's Castle is the most valuable Fright Knights set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $682.
