Insights

Released during the Castle era and now retired, Treasure Cart (6028) is a compact Fright Knights impulse set whose limited sealed inventory and recognizable bat-emblem styling have supported aftermarket demand, and its low remake risk is balanced by higher volatility driven by size and box condition.

This set is the same as set 6029 Treasure Guard.

Steve's LEGO Blog

“This is the final impulse set for Fright Knights, it’s a standard model that we have seen before but that comment is not supposed to be detrimental. I would have liked a shield to be included and for the chest to be filled with treasure but other than there’s nothing wrong... More with the set.”

Brickset

“This is a small ones of the fright knights, useful, and have a good looking. This have a minifigure carrying a cart with treasures on it. This is small, but the pieces are useful, like the treasures, used in some themes, pirates, western ,or in the castle.”

About Castle Fright Knights

Fright Knights was a Castle line of 1997 and 1998, part of the move of Castle from history into fantasy. The sets brought new parts with them, among them bats, chains, a crystal ball and Basil's winged helmet. 6037 Witch's Windship and 6087 Witch's Magic Manor gave the witch a ride and a home of her own.

Fright Knights consists of 17 sets that ran from 1997 to 1998. As of today, 6097 Night Lord's Castle is the most valuable Fright Knights set with an estimated new/sealed value of $850.
