Steve's LEGO Blog
“This set is a very interesting build, despite the fact that it feels very juniorised you can see some new elements being combined into a new style of LEGO castle, I would almost class this set as the missing link. The lion bricks and barred window are both new elements and... More the blue roof is a nice addition to the build.”

Brickset
“This set is a great set to have in any LEGO collection. It comes with some rare lion head statues and two cool minifigs which you can add to your collection as well. We also get two buildings in one set. This set includes a jail where you can put the bad guys in and a tower... More which has a sword.”

Lego Maniacs' Guide
“This set is worth the money for the classic pieces and the extra weapons. The icing on the cake is the classic Castle jail-cell door. Inside the cell the prisoner has some room to stand or sit, but it's more like a medieval walk-in closet. The mini-figs are quite impressive.... More Our protagonist, the Royal Knight, has a cool armor body-print and leg-print. His shield features a fearsome lion and he is armed with a standard Lego short sword.”
