“This LEGO set includes three minifigures: two distinct and unique pirates, with one appearing notably aged, suggesting a long tenure on the island, and a standard soldier with a printed emblem on his hat and blue epaulettes, diverging from the more common yellow and red. The set features a blue rowboat equipped with a cannon turret, reminiscent of the older Harbor Sentry set. The island scene includes a short dock with a catapult, a cooking fire with a fish, and a rock formation resembling a skull. The set conceals a gold treasure chest filled... More with coins and gems behind bars within the rock, which intriguingly can be accessed by removing a leaf part, indicating a less secure hiding spot.”
 

About Pirates

Pirates was a LEGO theme introduced in 1989, running until 1997 and focused on the classic idea of Caribbean pirates that were pitted against soldiers of colonial empires. As the series progressed through the years, more factions were introduced and the older ones were phased out of production. The Pirates were one of the first two original factions in the theme to be introduced.
