Insights

A promotional Make and Take release tied to in-store events, Ninjago Thunderfang (2025) draws modest scarcity from constrained regional distribution, and its small, minifigure-free format limits aftermarket upside while theme recognition and event provenance sustain collector interest.

Set Facts

In Ninjago: Dragons Rising, Thunderfang, once a revered dragon general, turns vengeful after being denied Source Dragon status. Defeated and imprisoned, he’s later freed by the Forbidden Five, whom he betrays and absorbs. He battles the ninja to conquer the Merged Realms but is ultimately defeated by Arin with a special elixir, banishing his spirit to the Spectral Lands.

BrickEconomy Member Review

“The Ninjago Thunder Fang is a small dragon build that was available as a free in-store take-home model. Despite its size, it includes movable wings and legs, plus chains that can be used for posing or play. It’s a fun bonus build, and the instructions can still be found online for those who missed it in-store.”
