“Sheriff Showdown, one of the impulsive sets that earlier LEGO series had. Impulsive sets were small sets that introduced you to the topic and with which you could test whether you liked a topic or not. These sets did not blow up all savings and mostly contained very useful... More parts to supplement the large sets. The Sheriff Showdown is definitely one of those with the very special flair.”

About Western Cowboys

LEGO Cowboys was the first Western sets released in the theme and focused on sheriffs fighting against outlaws as well as a military presence in the old west while the few sets that featured civilians simply served as a back drop for bandits robbing carriages or banks. The Cowboys' subtheme was the first LEGO sets that introduced realistic fire arms such as revolvers and rifles.

Cowboys consists of 12 sets that ran from 1996 to 2002. As of today, 6769 Fort Legoredo is the most valuable Cowboys set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,445.
