“Inside the sheriff station is a safe and the Sheriff's desk, which contains a money stash. The jail cell features an breakout mechanism that blows away one of the sidewalls with a Dynamite tile by way of releasing a tensioned Technic Shock Absorber. There is a white horse... More with a brown saddle. this set includes four minifigures, seven guns, a barrel, and printed dynamite, wanted poster and hand of cards tiles.”

“The build is brilliant: the combination of black and gray on the jail makes it really look like it's made out of stone or mud, and everything about the office looks perfect for the time period and feel being portrayed. The minifig selection is also beautiful, and the number... More of guns gets a big A+ from me! Without the exploding jail, I'd still completely love this set, so I think of that as just a bonus!”

About Western Cowboys

LEGO Cowboys was the first Western sets released in the theme and focused on sheriffs fighting against outlaws as well as a military presence in the old west while the few sets that featured civilians simply served as a back drop for bandits robbing carriages or banks. The Cowboys' subtheme was the first LEGO sets that introduced realistic fire arms such as revolvers and rifles.

Cowboys consists of 12 sets that ran from 1996 to 2002. As of today, 6769 Fort Legoredo is the most valuable Cowboys set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,305.
