“Third iteration on the mobile rocket launcher concept. Hoses are a nice touch. Love the rocket tip. The rocket is much more robust compared to the 1978 original. Again, nice to see a computer terminal. Articulated vehicle that carries a rocket on the trailer. Comes with one... More astronaut and a video camera/bazooka and a walkie-talkie for accessories.”

“The 6881 Lunar Rocket Launcher set brings back nostalgia with its classic 1980s space theme and vintage minifigure. The set features unique blue elements like the printed grill bricks, rubber tubes, and sloped computer piece, which add a lot of character. Although the rocket cradle design could use some improvements to keep the rocket steady, the overall retro LEGOBILITY make it a fun addition to any collection.”
 

About Space Classic

The LEGO Classic Space was introduced in 1978 and was the first space theme. It features sets with peaceful space explorers with no enemies unlike other LEGO space sets. There were 5 astronaut minifigures the wore the same suites but in various colors including blue, red, white, yellow and black.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 926 Command Center is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,645.
