“Primarily grey parts, as with many early space sets, the only exceptions being the mini-figure and a translucent green round piece. The mini-figure in this set is a classic white spaceman. This set is amazing and pretty much perfect. Every space fan should get it!”

“There's not too much one can say about this set, with only 15 or so pieces and a vehicle which is only 7 studs long. This model was duplicated (to the piece) in 483-Alpha-1 Rocket Base, 493-Space Command Center, and 6970-Beta-1 Command Base. A similar version (with... More single-piece difference) appeared in 497/928-Galaxy Explorer.”

About Space Classic

The LEGO Classic Space was introduced in 1978 and was the first space theme. It features sets with peaceful space explorers with no enemies unlike other LEGO space sets. There were 5 astronaut minifigures the wore the same suites but in various colors including blue, red, white, yellow and black.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 926 Command Center is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,645.
