Gift Package Value (New/Sealed)

This represents the current new/sealed value of the set Gift Package since January 1956. Medium accuracy
LEGO 700-3A-2 Gift Package is a Mursten Town Plan set released in 1956. Part of LEGO’s early Town Plan system of the mid-1950s, it was intended for constructing street and building scenes using basic bricks and accessories typical of the Mursten era. As a pre-minifigure set, it focused on loose elements for freeform town layouts rather than character figures or fixed models. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $2,344 within the next year.
Gift Package (700-3A-2) is an exceptionally old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the estimated value in sealed condition of $2,151.65 may understate its true worth, assuming one can even be found for sale. Since this set was released in 1956, finding it sealed and well-preserved is exceptionally difficult—making complete sets with intact boxes museum-grade collectibles.

About Mursten Town Plan

LEGO Mursten Town Plan Sets, produced in the early 1950s, were among the first themed sets released by the LEGO Group. These sets included the simple, hollow rectangular bricks of the LEGO Mursten era and allowed builders to create basic models of buildings and town layouts. One of the notable sets was the Town Plan No. 1 (set number 700/1), introduced in 1955, which included elements to build a small town, such as houses, a service station, and road signs. These sets were precursors to the more sophisticated town and city themes that LEGO would develop in later years, paving the way for the extensive LEGO City theme.

Town Plan consists of 6 sets that ran from 1954 to 1956. As of today, 700-3A-1 Gift Package is the most valuable Town Plan set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,314.
