“Rating: 4/5. Smallest set in the line, it keeps the idea of men vs animals that will be the line's leitmotif. A good choice of weapons for the man. The wolf is really good: scary big compared to the minifig, maybe odd because of the pieces it's built with. Extra pieces... More include an horn and the usual Technic small parts.”

“The set features a Viking warrior battling a monstrous wolf, which, while not historically accurate, provides an imaginative play experience. The pieces are versatile, including unique wolf ears, black robot arms, a new wolf head, and various teeth and horns. The minifigure is impressive with a metal-looking helmet, a detailed Viking face, and a black European-style armor. The set offers excellent value for its price, with a well-articulated wolf and a defensive wall.”
 

About Vikings

The LEGO Vikings theme is based on the ancient Scandinavian warriors known as Vikings. Released in 2005 and later discontinued in 2007, Vikings featured seven sets in total. Each set in the theme was based around a storyline that featured warriors battling creatures, typically based on Norse mythology. These creatures were constructed in a BIONICLE-like style that contrasted with the minifigure Vikings that battled them.
