“Although the Thwomp is a mighty rocky block which drops from above, it has a smaller version called a Thwimp. This is also a rocky block, it’s just a little less deadly. It’s also one of only a few Mario characters to appear in the Legend of Zelda series. The LEGO version... More does a better job of recreating the character than it does the Thwomp, this is thanks to having pyramid studs on the sides and top.”

BrickEconomy Member Review
“The Thwimp character pack offers an impressive translation of the classic Super Mario enemy into LEGO form. The spiky texture created with convex pyramid pieces is a standout feature, and the printed face tile captures the character’s in-game expression perfectly. Paired with the detailed lava-themed display stand, this set demonstrates how simple techniques can deliver a visually striking model.”
