“I think Xplode had more character than some of the other villain sets. And if you are looking for some good pieces, he's not too bad. But the overall set design just has too many gaps in it, which is a major drawback. So I guess it depends on what you Xpect from your set.”

This guy is definitely badass. His color scheme reminds me of the Torch Throwbot, and he is just as... More intense. I can imagine him being a witty, crazed villain who only works for thrills. There's just a certain charm about him that, for me, is greater than his faults.”

About HERO Factory Rise of the Rookies

Rise of the Rookies theme was based on the 2010 animated film within the LEGO Hero Factory series. The story follows Alpha Team Leader Stormer and his team—Bulk, Stringer, and rookies Furno, Breez, and Surge—as they confront a series of villains orchestrated by the rogue hero Von Nebula. The narrative emphasizes themes of teamwork, mentorship, and the challenges of transitioning from novice to experienced hero.

Rise of the Rookies was introduced in 2010 and currently consists of 15 sets. As of today, 7162 Rotor is the most valuable Rise of the Rookies set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $211.
