“Way back in 2005, this was a prized set because of the unique minifigures and vehicles included. General Grievous Chase has still not lost it's collectors value even after two other sets with updated versions of Grievous were released.”

Brickset
“I think this set is totally worth it as a collectors point of view. This set has 2 exclusive minifigures and an exclusive creature which is great for people who collect mini figures. - Obi-Wan: This figure is a great addition to any collector out there. The white General... More Grievous (1st gen) is only available in 2 sets, this set and set 7656.”

About Star Wars Episode III

Episode III covers Revenge of the Sith, the last of the prequel films, released in 2005. Its first wave came out that spring, the same season as LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, which retold the prequels in bricks and took the theme far beyond the toy shelf. The wave included 7251 Darth Vader Transformation, the scene on the medical table where Anakin first wears the suit.

Episode III currently consists of 49 sets that as of now has run from 2005 to 2025. As of today, 7283 Ultimate Space Battle is the most valuable Episode III set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,812.
