“In 1976, a particularly beautiful set, the Western Train (726), hit toy store shelves. Unfortunately, this only included one circular track, not straight tracks. Parents also had to buy the transformer separately. What was particularly remarkable at the time was that many of these train sets were pre-assembled.”
