“If you're a fan of the Star Wars Technic models, this one's a no-brainer. Even though it's not a playset, and there's no minifigs, it's a very nice statue to add to your collection. Plus, the price seems to be rather low as far as many older LSW sets go; I was able to get it... More for under $20, so you can't complain there!”

“Like other TECHNIC Star Wars sets at the time, it had limited posability, with its arm capable of being moved up and down using levers on the figure's back. Additional levers allow the fingers of the left hand to open and close, or raise the lightsaber in the right hand up... More and down. The head can also tilt in different directions but apart from these, the figure is not posable and is intended more for display.”

“This set is definitely visually impressive. Admittedly, is has limited jointing and therefore isn't very playable, but that is more them made up for by its sheer presence. It looks amazing, and if you want to get a TECHNIC Star Wars set I would definitely recommend this one... More over 8007 or 8009, the other two from this theme I have experience with.”

The LEGO Star Wars Technic theme combined the detailed, mechanical building approach of LEGO Technic with iconic characters from the Star Wars universe. Released primarily in the early 2000s, the sets in this theme focused on creating larger, articulated figures, such as droids and notable characters, using Technic pieces.
