“From the official photos I thought this set would be similar to the previous pull-back Ferrari #8362 of 2004, but sadly it is not. The car from the side looks nothing like an actual Ferrari 248, it's very misshaped.”

“This set edges out 8362 with its superior detail and more satisfying build, closely mirroring the 1:24 scale. I'd lean towards a perfect score if not for the missing minifigure. The generic red helmet was a bit of a letdown, as was the anticipation for a specific racer figure. However, the detailed "Shell" livery compensates, making the set overall quite remarkable despite the small shortcomings.”
