LEGO 8462 Tow Truck is a Technic set released in 1998, containing 774 pieces. Especially this futuristic design in addition to the oversized tyres did not appeal to me at all.... More Nevertheless, assembling this truck is great fun. It also has relatively many functions. Together with the very stable overall construction, the tow truck makes a lot of fun, so that five stars in the overall rating are more than justified.”

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. 8462 Recovery Truck. This incredible new truck with alloy wheels has front wheel steering controlled from the roof of the cab. Once you have pumped the air into the pneumatic system, you can control the tow bar and the arm of the tow bar by the levers on the left side of the truck. On the right side of the truck there is a lever which operates the crane arm once you have pumped the air into the pneumatics. There are also instructions for a car, and trailer which can be motorized with set number 8735.
