Technic-Dialog
“The first model from the Lego Technic series. This forklift has an almost cult status so it can be found on ebay costing unusually much. I cannot explain why it is so; perhaps because it is the first model from the Lego Technic series. I don’t find it particularly beautiful,... More its functionalities are extremely low, and the assembly is not much fun. However, it probably is a must in every collection.”
BrickEconomy Expert Review
“The 1977 LEGO Technic Fork-Lift Truck introduced key Technic elements like gear racks, long beams, and rear-wheel steering, laying the groundwork for future mechanical builds. Its fork-lifting mechanism and sharp turning showcase early Technic innovation, though the design is simple by modern standards and includes some fragile parts. While limited in complexity, it remains a historically important set that helped define the Technic line.”
