LEGO 8511 Frost is a Technic RoboRiders set released in 2000, containing 44 pieces. “Its weapons are two ice spears. It is asociated with ice. It comes with no Minifigures like the other RoboRiders sets. It can be combined with 8513 Dust to make a larger RoboRider, with 8512 Onyx and 8514 Power to form another, with 8509 Swamp, 8512 Onyx, 8513 Dust, and 8514... More to form another, with 8509 Swamp, 8512 Onyx, and 8513 Dust to build yet another, and with all of the other RoboRiders to build the biggest RoboRider.”

The translucent blue spears and the unique gear mechanism on the back add great play features, while the glow blue and white color scheme makes it stand out. The wheel launching system is just as enjoyable as other RoboRiders, and the detailed character designs on the wheels add a nice touch.”
 

About Technic Robo Riders

LEGO Robo Riders (RoboRiders) was a TECHNIC theme launched in 2000 that were designed as robotic, anthropomorphic bikes, complete with a faceplate and special gear to suggest adaption to a specific environment. The Robo Riders succeeded Slizer and was replaced by BIONICLE in 2001 with only eight retail and eight promotional sets being released.

Robo Riders was introduced in 2000 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 8516 Super RoboRider is the most valuable Robo Riders set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $120.
