LEGO 8606 Nuju is a Bionicle Toa Metru set released in 2004, containing 48 pieces. The set builds Nuju, Toa Metru of Ice, with dual crystal spikes, a white Kanohi Matatu mask of Telekinesis, and a collectible Kanoka card. The figure uses the Metru build with a gear-driven arm function and poseable limbs. It was released in two versions, 8606-1 and 8606-2, the latter including a mini CD-ROM.

“This is a great Toa and well worth the money. The Crystal Spikes are very detailed and can be put on his feet for snowshoes, but they can't be put on his back like on the other Toa Metru. He is the tallest of the Toa Metru except Nokama, and other than that one problem about... More putting the weapons on his back, he's worth the price.”

“By turning a knob in Nuju's back, his Crystal Spikes will swing up and down. The Crystal Spikes could also be attached to Nuju's feet for use as snowshoes. By combining pieces from Toa Nuju with 8602 Toa Nokama and 8603 Toa Whenua, one can build the Kraawa.”

About Bionicle Toa Metru

The Toa Metru were BIONICLE heroes that were briefly mutated into half-beasts called Toa Hordika in the second half of the arc.

Toa Metru was introduced in 2004 and currently consists of 7 sets. As of today, 8601-2 San Diego Comic-Con 2004 Toa Vakama is the most valuable Toa Metru set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $335.
