About Minifigure Series Series 1

Minifigures Series 1 was LEGO's first release of it's collectable minifigures which nnow numbers in the dozens. The collection, like most in the theme, contains sixteen exclusive minifigures, many of which were based on concepts never seen before their release. Each minifigure was sold individually in foil polybags and came with a selection of accessories, a display stand, and a paper checklist. The opaque foil packaging was intended to make the minifigure a mystery, however, it was quickly noticed that the barcodes on the back could identify the contents.

Series 1 was introduced in 2010 and currently consists of 19 sets. As of today, Series 1 Sealed Box is the most valuable Series 1 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,336.
