The Matoran are BIONICLE citizens and are smaller than Toa warriors. There are several types of Matoran including Ko-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ta-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Av-Matoran. Various Matoran characters were made into more significant characters some even becoming Toa. If a Matoran from each Metru or Koro wish to combine their bodies they can form a being called a Matoran Nui.
Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today,
8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $150.
Summary
Bionicle Matoran Velika set 8721 was released in January 2006, retailing for $4, but has since been retired. New, unopened Velika sets are valued at $18, while used sets can be found for $10.
