LEGO 8726 Dalu is a Bionicle Matoran set released in 2006, containing 25 pieces. It builds the Ga-Matoran character Dalu equipped with her Twin Chargers, which in Bionicle lore can temporarily enhance a target’s attributes at the cost of her own energy. The figure includes a powerless Kanohi Rau mask. Dalu appears as part of the Matoran Resistance in the Voya Nui storyline.

“She is one of the six Matoran of the Matoran Resistance in Voya Nui. She carries two Twin Chargers. In the BIONICLE storyline, she is a Ga-Matoran who likes to fight, and her Twin Chargers, when crossed, increased one attribute of her target like speed, or hearing, however... More it drained her to do it. She wears a powerless Kanohi Rau, and is currently living on Spherus Magna.”

“This is a scary beast, but it looks great against other Rahi, although the amount of silver is a bit more then what we are used to (expect perhaps in Nivawk.) It is a shame the creature has not had more impact on the story, because I am personally in love with it. Heck, if... More you have the money I would suggest buying two copies of all the Matoran as I am doing, just to build these great combiners. After the Hordika and Piraka...creatures...these are a nice change.”

About Bionicle Matoran

The Matoran are BIONICLE citizens and are smaller than Toa warriors. There are several types of Matoran including Ko-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ta-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Av-Matoran. Various Matoran characters were made into more significant characters some even becoming Toa. If a Matoran from each Metru or Koro wish to combine their bodies they can form a being called a Matoran Nui.

Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today, 8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $182.
