LEGO 8755 Keetongu is a Bionicle Warriors set released in 2005, containing 203 pieces. It builds the titular Rahi ally from the 2005 storyline with a geared function for whirling arm shields. The model integrates a hidden chest-mounted Rhotuka launcher revealed by opening the torso armor and uses a rip-cord mechanism to fire the included red Rhotuka spinner. The spinner is marked with a Kanoka Code.

“8755 Keetongu is a legendary Rahi, one with an extensive knowledge of poisons and antidotes. He is one of a race of intelligent Rahi, and is the only one of his species has been seen, and might be the last of his kind after his island was conquered by the Visorak. He... More included a bright red Rhotuka spinner. A lock on his chest armour allowed one to open his chest cavity and fire a Rhotuka spinner as in the story. His whirling shields could be spun with an axle on his right arm, and their area increased as they spun and decreased when they again became still.”

“This titan, keetongu, is very cool, have some yellow parts with black pieces, like the arms. Of 2005, he likes be smaller than other titans, but looks too stronger. The head includes only one eye, but it is cool and don't like a rahi(beast), as in the story line. He shoots a... More spinner too, this in the center. His weapons are great, like the rotating shield.”

“The Keetongu set contains 203 pieces, and was first released in late 2005. Pressing a small red switch on Keetongu's torso will reveal a Rhotuka Launcher hidden in his chest. A Rhotuka spinner can be propelled from this launcher by using a ripcord included with the set.”

About Bionicle Warriors

The LEGO BIONICLE Warriors was a subtheme of sets that were typically larger than the standard Toa or Matoran sets, but not as intricate or vast as the Titan sets. These Warrior sets often represented significant characters or antagonists in the Bionicle storyline.

Warriors consists of 37 sets that ran from 2002 to 2009. As of today, 8998 Toa Mata Nui is the most valuable Warriors set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $2,540.
