Insights

Released long-retired in the Knights Kingdom II line, Dark Fortress Landing includes Lord Vladek and a Shadow Knight which keeps completionist interest high, and its limited sealed availability and low remake risk support continued collector demand, while small-set volatility tempers the outlook.

Set Facts

It consists of a river castle, a river boat, and two minifigures: Lord Vladek and Shadow Knight.
The set was part of the Toys R Us exclusive set, 65767 Attack from the Sea.
Together, Lord Vladek and his Shadow Knights represent the forces of evil in the Knights' Kingdom storyline, opposing the heroic knights who strive to protect the kingdom from Vladek's tyranny.

Brickset

“It is a nice set, definitely a scary little Fortress with some great parts but it needs other sets. You have no opposite Knights, so when you finished building it it is done. So when you buy it prepare to get other sets like The Knights Attack Barge or like I did combine it... More with the Scorpion Prison Cave with as result a nice big Fortress. But the single set is just a nice building with 2 good mini-figures.”

Eurobricks

“The set, as the name implies, is mainly a small fort that can be added to the main castle of the shadow knights. Also, this set often came together with 8801, a set that includes a ship and some colorful hero knights. That said, it can also be regarded as a small,... More stand-alone castle.”
