“This 4x4 ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) is the first of its kind in the Technic line. Its steering is unique and was never repeated (for good reason). There is nothing particularly remarkable to mention here; this is just kind of a goofy set. No new parts or techniques are... More used. The function is so minimal that it's a bit of a stretch to even call it Technic, but it is entry level.”

“The quad bike from the Lego Technic series could almost be the ugliest model ever. Here - I think - the Lego designers really missed it. Finally, a quad bike is built here from only 94 parts, and it is quite a stable construction. Interestingly, although the model is so... More small, the rear axle is suspended transversely. Altogether there are three stars in the overall rating, especially because of the rear axle.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
