About BrickLink Designer Program Series 4

The BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 is a fan-driven initiative where LEGO enthusiasts submit custom designs for potential production as official LEGO sets. The program involves a voting process to select finalists, followed by a crowdfunding phase where supporters can pre-order their favorite designs. Sets that reach a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders will be produced, with a cap of 30,000 units per set. The five selected sets for Series 4 are Wild West Train, Siege Encampment, Merchant Boat, Medieval Seaside Market and Riverside Scholars. Pre-ordering started on Februrary 4th, 2025 with production and shipment in July 2025. Both the Medieval Seaside Market and Siege Encampment sold out the first day.

Designer Program Series 4 was introduced in 2025 and currently consists of 5 sets. As of today, 910044 Wild West Train is the most valuable Designer Program Series 4 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $445.

:: The Build ::
The build consists of a seaside castle with a market and port inside of it. It is arranged in such way so that the focal point is actually the rear side of the castle instead of the gate as it usually is. The whole project takes 2183 pieces (minifigs included). For ease of use and mobility it can be split into four sections.

The main tower. The main keep and gatehouse of the castle can be split to access the interior. There you will find the harbourmaster’s office in the upper floor and the loading/unloading area along with a wine cellar at ground level. At the top of the keep there is a catapult to fend enemies off the harbour!

Wagon and Ship. There is a wagon for the peasant to deliver the wine into the market, and also fishing ship for the fisherman.

Market area. Includes few stands featuring different characters who come to sell their products: a blacksmith, a baker and a merchant/snake charmer with...
