1950 LEGO Sets

In 1950 LEGO continued the release of the original line of Automatic Binding Bricks and released 7 new sets, many of them supplemental part sets and represented the first spare parts packs produced by The LEGO Group, except for set 700A which contained 48 parts, 24 of each, 2x2 and 2x4 bricks. Most of these sets ran from 1950 to around 1955 and were only available in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

In general finding one of these sets from the 1950s is just about near impossible on any secondary markets. While we have seen some collectors with used sets, the boxes are typically in poor condition and as far as a sealed, factory new set, we have yet to see one.
