700-A Small 2x2 and 2x4 Bricks Set was an Automatic Binding Bricks set released in 1950 that consisted of 48 parts, including 24 2x2 bricks and 2x4 bricks in 4 different colors. This set was manufactured from 1950 until 1955. In 1954 the theme for this set changed from Automatic Binding Bricks to LEGO Mursten. This set was released in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

About Mursten

LEGO Mursten is based on the original Automatic Binding Bricks from 1949. In 1952 the LEGO Group decided that they needed a more descriptive name for their brick sets and added the phrase LEGO Mursten, which translates to 'LEGO bricks' to the existing and new boxes, and in 1953 the sets were renamed simply LEGO Mursten.
