About LEGO Service Packs Aquazone
The LEGO Service Packs for the Aquazone theme provided additional pieces and accessories to enhance the main Aquazone sets, which were active from 1995 to 1998. Aquazone featured underwater exploration and conflict between different factions, such as Aquanauts, Aquasharks, Aquaraiders, and Hydronauts. The service packs typically included extra minifigures, underwater vehicles, tools, and aquatic creatures, allowing builders to expand their underwater worlds and create more intricate scenes.
1995 LEGO Sets
1995 marked LEGO’s 60th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the LEGO brick, a year of innovation and reflection. LEGO Technic CyberMaster blended mechanical engineering with early computer control, foreshadowing Mindstorms and LEGO’s digital future. For younger builders, LEGO Primo debuted as a pre-DUPLO system introducing infants to basic stacking play. Aquazone launched as LEGO’s first dedicated underwater adventure line, featuring the Aquanauts and Aquasharks. Castle expanded with the Royal Knights faction, while the company mourned the passing of Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, whose System in Play philosophy shaped LEGO’s legacy.
