About LEGO World Racers

The LEGO World Racers theme was released for one year in 2010 and features two race teams, the Blasters and Xtreme Daredevils, that raced against each other around the world for a reality TV show. The theme includes a total of 8 sets and on promotional pack The first six sets were released in May and June 2010, with the final sets being released as promotions later in 2010.
2010 LEGO Sets
2010 sets the stage for a massive investment opportunity for future collectors with the release of the Series 1 of the Collectable Minifigures. In addition, LEGO introduced the Cars theme and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 was also released. However, a number of themes and subthemes were retired including Agents, Bob The Builder, Indiana Jones and Thomas and Friends. For the Star Wars collectors, LEGO celebrated the 30th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with a number of special sets. Additionally, LEGO and Disney released a bunch of different Disney subthemes.
