
The Bricklink Designer Program Series 1 sets were available for pre-order starting at 8am (PST) on 7 February 2024, with a commitment that any set receiving at least 3,000 orders would go into production, and a cap of 30,000 units for each set, an increase from the initially announced 20,000. The new LEGO Series 1 BrickLink Designer Program sets include the Mountain Fortress by SleeplessNight, Parisian Street by NicolasCarlier, The Old Train Engine Shed by Mind_the_Brick, General Store – Wild West by llucky, and The Snack Shack by Skeletuhr.
2024 LEGO Sets
In 2024, LEGO broadened its creative reach through major new licenses, digital experiences, and sustainability goals. The LEGO Dune theme debuted with the Atreides Royal Ornithopter, faithfully capturing the design of the 2021 film. A landmark collaboration with Epic Games introduced LEGO Fortnite, blending survival, building, and over 1,200 minifigure-style characters. Other notable releases included LEGO Animal Crossing and LEGO The Legend of Zelda, expanding LEGO’s Nintendo partnership, and LEGO Wicked, tied to the upcoming musical film. LEGO Despicable Me returned alongside sets for the new Despicable Me 4 movie, while LEGO Star Wars marked its 25th anniversary with commemorative editions. Sustainability remained central to LEGO’s mission as it reaffirmed goals to use 50% renewable or recycled materials by 2026 and phase out fossil-based plastics by 2032.
