ECTO-1 Reviews
The Brothers Brick
“This is a superb rendition of the ECTO-1. Instantly recognizable, full of great details, and sporting a fair number of interesting functions and features. There are a good variety of parts, including those sweet new windscreen and steering wheel molds, and some fun prints.... More From a cost perspective, at $200 US for 2,352 pieces this set comes in at around 8.5 cents per part; a decent ratio, particularly considering the included licensing fees for both Ghostbusters and GM.”
BrickFanatics
“Coming in at 2352 pieces, 10274 Ghostbusters ECTO-1 is a massive upgrade on 2014’s LEGO Ideas 21108 Ghostbusters ECTO-1, which used just 508 pieces. It’s recommended for adults, 18+, measures just under half a metre long and promises to be a spooktacular building experience.... More ECTO-1 is such an iconic vehicle that it seems only right for the LEGO Group to finally give fans a version at this scale. We’ve waited a long time, but it’s certainly been worth it. This is a set that encapsulates all that is good about the LEGO experience – it’s a build that is deep, involved, unique and satisfying. It produces a finished model that looks absolutely incredible, accurate to its on screen counterpart, even when it comes to functionality.”
