“This is a wonderful set for any Ghostbusters fan. I have not seen the movie, but I love the set design and Minifigures of 75828. The car is spacious and detailed. It fits four Minifigures, and it can be placed inside the Firehouse Headquarters. The price is ok, but the... More overall score did take a bit of a hit there.”

“This is a solid set with good figures (especially if you enjoyed the movie), and as a one-off set, worked out in much the same way as the original, even if it doesn't have nostalgia to make you want to buy it. It does a great job of representing the characters and the... More vehicle, even with a few little design quibbles. That being said, if you're only going to buy one Ecto-1, I'd still lean more towards the original (if for no reason other than it's likely to go out of print soon). If you already have the first one, the second one isn't a bad purchase by any means.”

Brickset
“The original Ecto-1 is a genuinely iconic vehicle and 21108 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 is therefore very appealing. However, 75828 Ecto-1 & 2 is a superior set in my opinion, with an improved minifigure selection, many more play features and an equally accurate design in relation... More to the source material. My only criticism relates to the stickers included, some of which are difficult to apply properly due to their small size.”
