LEGO 1217-2 2x4 Bricks was a 13 piece System i Leg set released in 1955. It was released in four different colors, blue, red, white, and yellow, and only released in Norway and Sweden. The type of bricks used for this set changed during the production time. From 1955 to 1956 the brick was a slotted hollow bricks and from 1956 to 1958 it was a hollow brick without slots.

About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $905.
