LEGO 1247-2 Esso Pumps and Sign was a 2 piece System i Leg set released in 1955. It contains 2 pieces: an Esso Pump stand, and an Esso sign. This version was released only in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The Danish version also had 3 Esso oil cans which was a 1x1 red brick with a sticker applied.
Esso Pumps and Sign (set 1247-2) is an extremely old and rare LEGO set. It has not been seen for sale online or in retail stores in good/new condition in over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the current estimated value of $297.18 may be much lower than its true value, assuming it can be found for sale. About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $911.
