Set Value (New/Sealed)

This represents the current new/sealed value of the set 5 Danish Flags since January 1958. Medium accuracy
LEGO 242-2 5 Danish Flags is a System i Leg Supplemental set released in 1958, containing 5 pieces. It includes five white flag elements on flagpoles with the Denmark pattern in a waving style without a bottom lip, used as accessory parts for builds. The set was distributed only in Denmark. It is closely related to set 1242D-1 5 Danish Flags from the same period and uses the “White Flag on Flagpole, Wave with Denmark Pattern – No Bottom Lip” variant. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $145 within the next year.
5 Danish Flags is an incredibly rare set. Set 242-2 has not been available for sale online or in retail stores in new/good condition for over one year. Boxes in well-preserved condition are considered museum-grade collectibles, representing the very origins of LEGO. Its true market value is likely higher than the current estimate. The last brand new 5 Danish Flags was sold on eBay.
There are currently no new/sealed listings available for 5 Danish Flags at this time.

About System i Leg Supplemental

Supplemental sets are the parts packs of LEGO System i Leg, the System of Play that LEGO launched in 1955 to turn its bricks into one connected toy. Builders bought them to add more of the parts they needed, such as bricks in each size, windows and doors, roof bricks, plates and corner bricks. Others add details for the town plan of the time, such as Esso petrol pumps and signs, light masts, letter bricks, Danish and international flags and beams printed with Danish shop names.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 230-2 Six Trees and Bushes is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $324.
