LEGO 215-2 2x8 Bricks was a 6 piece System i Leg set released in 1958. It is the European version of set 215-3 which was the Samsonite version available in the US. Variants included different color bricks such as red, yellow, blue, white, transparent and black.
2x8 Bricks is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 215-2 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 985 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $16.33 might actually be much lower than the true value assuming this set can be found for sale.Because 2x8 Bricks is a very old set from 1958, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $854.
