“This LEGO Racers set features a simple car design with minimal pieces but includes a unique crash-activated feature that launches the driver—a non-standard but solid figure. The set's design is attractive, though some of the printed parts may not blend well with other builds. While the playability is basic and the lack of a launcher limits the fun, it remains an affordable and visually appealing set.”

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $301.
