“The Xalax set from the first Racers subtheme offers some unique features, including rare purple parts and a fun launching mechanism that enhances playability. The set’s base has a cool bumper function that sends the Xalax figure flying, and the box doubles as a storage and launcher. However, the set feels overpriced for its small size, and the base isn't very useful beyond Xalax play”
 

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $290.
