1593 Super Model was a 313 piece promotional Space set with 2 minifgures released in 1983. In the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden and various other European countries the set was a promotion with Persil laundry powder. In Germany it was available through the Idee + Spiel toy store chain.

The set is composed of two sets, 6880 Surface Explorer and 6929 Star Fleet Voyager.
Super Model (set 1593-1) is an extremely old and rare LEGO set. It has not been seen for sale online or in retail stores in good/new condition in over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the current estimated value of $1,260.70 may be much lower than its true value, assuming it can be found for sale. As this set was released in 1983, finding it sealed and in good condition is particularly challenging, likely driving its true value even higher.

“This must have just been a "creative" exercise for the lego designers. Finally managed to get one at a fair price and was very disappointed. Lots of good parts, put together in some form which uses all the necessary bits from 6880 and 6929. Very weak structure, no evidence... More of design and heaven only knows what the big white fridge with the arm is supposed to be.”

About Space Classic

The LEGO Classic Space was introduced in 1978 and was the first space theme. It features sets with peaceful space explorers with no enemies unlike other LEGO space sets. There were 5 astronaut minifigures the wore the same suites but in various colors including blue, red, white, yellow and black.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 497 Galaxy Explorer is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,474.
Summary
Space Classic Super Model set 1593 was released in February 1983, retailing for $20, but has since been retired. New, unopened Super Model sets are valued at $1,261, while used sets can be found for $140.
