- This set was created as a replacement for 21038 Las Vegas, which was cancelled due to a shooting incident at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV in October 2017, thus it replaces the Mandalay Bay with the Bellagio.
- The included booklet contains information about the designer, architecture and history of each structure, as well as historical facts about Las Vegas and its architectural heritage.
- Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign - a famous sign erected in 1959 that is dedicated to the City of Las Vegas.
- Bellagio Hotel - a famous luxury resort on the Vegas strip that was built in 1998.
- Luxor Las Vegas - a famous hotel located on the southern end of the Vegas strip.
- Encore Wynn Las Vegas - a luxury hotel on the Vegas strip that is the seventh largest hotel in the world.
- Stratosphere Las Vegas - a hotel on the Vegas strip that is the tallest tower in the US.
- Fremont Street Experience - a famous shopping mall.

This was a stark contrast to my initial expectations, which were a little less than enthusiastic. That being said, I do feel there are stronger entries in the series like 21039 Shanghai, but Las Vegas has enough character for me to make a solid recommendation. Buy it for a nice, casual build or to expand your collection of useful parts.”

The series was introduced in 2016 and now contains more than a dozen sets representing cities such as New York City, Venice, Sydney, Chicago, London, Paris and many more.

21038 Las Vegas is the most valuable Skylines set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,709.
