“The Hydro Reef Wrecker (neat name) is a rather bulky model comprised of a three-wheel surface roving unit (much like the 1728-Crystal Crawler) with a detachable minisub that fits nicely on the back. Two crystal boxes and a spacious 6x9x3 area for storage are located just... More beneath the minisub's docking base. Three giant drills on the face of the rover unit give it a very nasty appearance.”

About Aquazone Aquaraiders

The Aquaraiders subtheme started and ended in 1997 and was the descendent of the Aquanauts and Aquasharks subthemes when these were discontinued. The Aquaraiders where an alternate villain faction that competed with both the Aquanauts and Aquasharks and consisted of three vessels in black with green accents and trans-neon green window pieces. The ships had accessories that looked like drills and grinders and had an exotic look for submarines.

Aquaraiders was introduced in 1997 and currently consists of 3 sets. As of today, 2162 Hydro Reef Wrecker is the most valuable Aquaraiders set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $293.
